Feh.

So a bunch of right-wingers are running for party posts out in California. Fair enough; somebody needs to do the dirty work. Thing is, they decided to make things easier for themselves by running on a 'Support the (party) platform' slate; that had the added advantage of getting rid of what I guess was some serious competition from the Log Cabin folks.

Thing is, the Log Cabin people are gay Rs (yes, I know, pity them), and the party platform calls for making gay marriage illegal. No self-respecting gay person (if that definition still includes the Log Cabin types, which I seriously doubt) is going to support that bullcrap. And yes, it is bullcrap, the kind of stuff the Rs will be ashamed of twenty years down the road. Kind of like the Nazional Review now regrets its editorials opposing Brown v. Board.

The blog these self-righteous nitwits used to support their bigoted cause used to have comments enabled; until a group of dissenters, including this shark, overran the comments section with some pretty acid commentary, including at least one on the sheer ludicrousness of hearing values cant in the days of Abramoff, Cunningham and congressmen getting blown in limos by hookers. Yes, that was me.

The comments are now disabled. The nitwits have capitulated. Mark down another small victory against the forces of evil.
