The collapse

America has been governed, for five long and disastrous years, by the first ideological party in our history; unhinged extremists sowing fear and division have taken us down a road, paved with lies, at whose end lies tyranny, terror and despair.

And now, their lunatic edifice is collapsing before our eyes.

In Pennsylvania, polls show challenger Bob Casey ahead of Rick "Man on Dog" Santorum by twenty points. Of Pennsylvania's twelve congressmen of the R persuasion, seven may fall in November.

In New York, gubernatorial candidate Eliot Spitzer leads the R contenders by over 40% in the polls, while Hillary is poised for a landslide and five of nine enemy congressional districts are expected to be conquered.

In California, the NRCC has been forced to spend almost $4 million on the CA-50 race; the race is presently too close to call, despite an almost 2:1 R advantage.

In Kansas, a former R state chairman, disgusted with what his party has turned into, just switched to register as a Democrat. He's now running on a ticket with Democratic governor Kathleen Sebelius.

And the chimp's new showboat for Treasury obviously hasn't been paid off enough yet, considering that he's in the mainstream on global warming.

Mark my words, the story of right-wing extremism in America is coming to a close.
