Dictators of all nations, unite!

George Bush probably had the dictatorial equivalent of penis envy with Chinese dictator Hu visiting the White House. "Yeah, I can be more repressive than you can, you little commie bitch! See how big my security apparatus is, huh, bitch?"

So what did he do? He had a demonstrator arrested, who will now be heading to prison for "attempting to intimidate, coerce, threaten or harrass a foreign official".

Bush must be wishing that there were a statute like that for domestic purposes; not that he needs it, being above the law for all practical purposes. But it would be nice to have, just to maintain that cracking veneer of legality for a bit longer.
