Going down...

Fitzmas is expected to begin Wednesday, setting the stage for a joyous celebration across America of everything that is good and right.

Let's review: the forces of darkness are in retreat in Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey, New York and California. It now appears that the only race they can expect to win this November is in New York City itself, where Democrats are running the weakest candidate ever. Alec Baldwin asks in today's Huffington Post :"My question for today is: Why are contemporary Republicans so full of shit? And a follow-up...How did the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and General Eisenhower get taken over by such lying, thieving, self-serving scoundrels?" He is referring, of course, to douchebag Kay Bailey Hutchinson's statements on "Meet the Press" yesterday that perjury and obstruction of justice, as long as they're committed in the right right-wing spirit are just not a big deal.

I told my republican friends five years ago that George Bush will be the death of them; they scoffed, and for a long time, they thought they were right. No more. The house of cards is coming down, and nothing will ever be the same again.

[Update: Fitzmas seemingly has been delayed until Friday, much to the irritation and disgust of party planners cross America. DailyKos is being prudish, seemingly expecting us to 'cleanse ourselves' before the holiday - as if.]
