Stalin embroiled in blogging controversy!

NEW YORK (AP) - August 2, 2005.

Stalin the Shark, a New York City blogger, has become the subject of a witch hunt by the right-wing noise machine. At issue are comments made by Mr. Sharkovich on a posting that appeared on the site of a self-described "Californian", in which he pointed out that the reasoning employed by the poster was breathtaking in its stupidity, even for a right-winger.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis has released two reports showing that states going for [treason-enabling, lying-about-everything former Texas governor] Bush in the last election are considerably poorer than the ones that went for Kerry.

The higher the per capita income of a state, the more it trends Democrat. The top ten blue states had a per capita income 20 percent higher than the top ten red states. So much for Howard Dean-esque stereotypes of Republicans who've never worked a day in their lives....
(What this really proves is that the rich states (blue) don't want the poorer states (red) to become rich like them! This is called greedy and arrogant...Steve)

Stalin the Shark, who as a stuffed toy has more capacity for logical economic analysis than most right-wingers, pointed out to the poster that his arguments supported the opposite of his conclusions, and proceeded to list some of the results right-wing economic theory and practice have had on the red states. Out of a sense of duty to his own ethnic group, Mr. Sharkovich also admonished the poster that he would do well to drag his bloated body away from his keyboard and Faux "News" to get some exercise. Mr. Sharkovich maintains that residents of coastal states have an obligation to all sharks, who are afflicted by high cholesterol, to exercise before they make themselves available as part of the food chain at their local beach.

Out of sheer charity, Sharkovich did not point out that the poster was presumably of the right mind set and age group to head out to Iraq, like Democrats do; that said poster was presumably unaware that the Bush cabinet is the richest in history, leading to the conclusion that the poor schmuck isn't just disingenuous, but truly demented; and that his conclusion that blue states voted for Senator Kerry over former Texas governor Bush in the desire to impoverish said red states, instead of, say, because of the fact that Bush lied us into a war in the Middle East, proves that he at least is descended from chimpanzees.

The response from the right-wing noise machine was immediate. Mr. Sharkovich was threatened with a posting ban on said site, and was briefly unable to post for what he has since been assured were technical reasons. He has since been able to post again, however. One reactionary commentator accused him of cannibalism for his desire to nibble the right-wing poster. This charge is, of course, absurd, because cannibalism by definition involves one's own species.

The underlying theme of the propaganda onslaught against Sharkovich is one of "religious intolerance". Asked if he was intolerant of the religious faith of others, as the noise machine claims due to his unwillingness to accept farcical drivel masquerading as argument, Stalin said: "I really don't give a rat's ass what these people believe. I do feel, however, that it's very revealing when you start whining like an unlubed prison bitch about persecution if your delusional arguments are questioned and disproven by the application of basic logic. You can go to church as often as you like, but don't demand that this habit excuse you from having to present a coherent argument. And don't pretend that people who think you're a delusional idiot because of your argument are actually mocking your religious beliefs."

Asked if it was mean-spirited of him to refer to the reactionary poster as "a rippling tub of lard", Mr. Sharkovich, after calming down somewhat from a rollicking fit of laughter, had this to say: "Gee, let me think. This guy refers to all inhabitants of blue states as 'greedy and arrogant', which we're not. I call him fat, which he is. Is it mean if it's true? Your call."
