Stalin and the New York Times

I love the New York Times, I really, truly do. They should, however, devote more space to us marine minorities; we are seldom mentioned, if ever, and then only in connection with the mockery the Times occasionally sees fit to pour over the cable info-porn channels, when those channels go overboard in their hysteriia over my Florida cousins' beach snacking.

Of course, there are also the grotesque butcheries that occasionally appear in the Dining In/Dining Out section. Now, when I nibble someone on the subway, there's a big to-do; but the Times thinks nothing of presenting its marine readers with recipes for shark fin soup. We are at the top of the food chain, Bill Keller, or must I remind you of that pertinent fact when next you head out to The Hamptons?

It may seem too obvious to note, but the Times is subtly biased against sharks; as noted, they seldom mention the Florida beach buffet my family puts on every year for our vacation, but when they do, the point of view of the shark is noticeably absent.

So, NYT, please respect the views and opinions of this reader and do some good, pro-shark reporting. It will be appreciated.
