Pat Robertson today called for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

On live television.

This is a guy who mounted a serious bid for the (R) presidential nomination some time ago.

This little outburst illustrates exactly why the (R)s are a disaster. It's illegal to assassinate a foreign head of state. And it's stupid to do so when that state happens to be your second-largest oil supplier.

Criminal, and stupid. That's the (R) agenda for you right there.
